What specific tools or practices have you tried or heard of for applying justice and equity in design? (Eg. ways to apply the design justice principles, but also could be methods to integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability, anti-oppression, harm reduction in design work…)

Join the Vancouver Design Justice Node for a Show & Tell meet-up to share and learn about tools/practices/resources you've created or come across in your own practice! Anyone is welcome to bring a tool/practice/resource for applying justice and equity in design, and do a mini-presentation (~5-8min). Then, we discuss the pros and cons and share thoughts and questions as a group.

Want to present something?

Just show up! Tips: You are not expected to be the “expert” of the tool/practice/resource you present! It can be something you’ve used, but also perhaps you haven’t and just think it’s cool, or you tried it and it failed. This is a shared learning session. This is a super casual meet-up so no slides/share-screen necessary unless you want to. The definition of a tool/practice/resource is very loose and open to your own interpretation.
