Join us on Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 5:30-7:00 PM PT, as we embark on a journey to establish a Seattle ‘node’ (aka chapter) of the Design Justice Network (DJN), an international community of people and organizations who are committed to rethinking design processes so that they center people who are too often marginalized by design.
Our goal for this inaugural session is to introduce ourselves and the DJN principles, and discuss opportunities to coalesce around design justice in Seattle.
Initially, we hope to crowd in more voices (particularly those of womxn, BIPOC, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, and foreign-born folx) in planning and shaping what sets Seattle apart in the spaces where design, anti-racism, equity, and action intersect.
