For our next DJN Seattle/PNW node meet-up on Thursday, June 17, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM (sign-up here for Zoom link), we are super excited to have one of our node members, Hope Idaewor, join us to talk about tools for actualizing equity in design.
Amongst many talents as a user experience researcher and product designer, Hope is also the founder of ethos design collective. She formed ethos as a way to create space for BIPOC to reimagine new approaches to inclusive design.
Hope will share for ~20 min and then depending on group interest, we can leave it open to discussion, collaborate on ideas for ongoing co-creation this summer, or wrap it up early and enjoy the sunshine, as you please.
Whether or not you're able to attend this Thursday, you're still welcome to provide your input on what you want to see from this group via this brief anonymous survey.
