WELCOME to new node DC/ Maryland/ Virginia (DMV) Node!

The Design Justice DMV node brings together equity-based designers across DC, Baltimore, and the surrounding regions who want to share a social space to discuss, learn, and practice design justice principles together.

Our node aims to remain non-hierarchical and invites all equity-based designers in the region--regardless of whether they have formal ties to a design education or profession--to participate in shaping and growing the community. We believe that everyone can be an equity-based designer, and we are eager to build a supportive community for equity-based designers from a variety of backgrounds and contexts.
