Link sourced from the movement calendar maintained by the Institute for the Development of Human Arts.

Shared As Recommended Readings & Recordings
Reading and recording recommendations are offered for your consideration by members of our team and Network – whether you’re staying in, biding time in a Zoom waiting room, or just looking for something to read or watch for deeper reflection on design justice.

  • Unbranding Liberation (PDF)

    • Described as a commentary on the role of images, and their mass production and dissemination, over the last nine months of the genocide in Gaza, raising questions around “the photograph’s adherence to certain algorithmic principles that guide how images emerging from Palestine are framed, interpreted, and more importantly, consumed on social media platforms.”

Event times are given in the time zone the event is located, when known or applicable; you can use a time zone converter (like Every Time Zone or World Time Buddy) to compare the listed time with your local time.
