DJN’s first Seasonal Pause of 2024 is March 16-24; Seasonal Pauses encourage a deeper relationship with rest as an intentional practice of design justice. Members on the Network’s Steering Committee and contractors who support different programming or operations of DJN may practice rest by slowing down, automating or stopping work for the week.

There’s A Nap For That! by Jessica Clark recent futurist-in-residence with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Jessica connects cross-movement advancement of health equity through rest as a practice of healing justice and notes the Care Pod’s exploration of designing and dreaming liberatory cultures of care.
